“Yana..”
I heard him call me, napatingin naman ako sa kanya at ngumiti.
“Armando” I mumbled his name. I run into his arms at Agad ko syang niyakap.
“I missed you” he whispered in my ears, a tear rolled down in his cheeks. I chuckled, he really missed me.
“I missed you too”
I ignore the pain in my chest, I just want to cherish this moment. I want to embrace him and feel his warm hugs. Ngayon lang ulit kami nagkita, Umalis kase ako to work abroad at we are in a Long distance relationship for 3 years.
“Yana, Please stay with me tonight”
His voice was hoarse, parang kagagaling nya lang sa iyak. ngumiti ako at tumango, there’s something wrong about him.
” I’d stay with you forever Armando. We will stay together, right?”
I whispered and kiss him on the cheeks. I love this man, I love everything about him. But his silence make me nervous.
“I love you Yana, please always remember that”
I look at his eyes and kiss him.
“I love you too”
He pulled me closer and kiss me.
“I’m tired, lets sleep together Yana, I want cuddles” He said in a childish tone, I suppress a smile at niyakap lang sya.

Nahihirapan na akong huminga sa oras na ito. Pakiramdam ko ay natutuyo ang aking lalamunan dahil sa kakaiyak.
He said matutulog kami but it is almost 12 noon hindi pa rin sya nagigising.
” Arman wake up!” I shouted, tears running down in my face.
I’m so nervous, dinala namin sya sa ospital and they said he’s dead on arrival. How can it be?!
“No he’s not! Ayos pa sya kagabi! He even laugh,smile and- and- Basta ok sya kagabi!”
Iyak ako ng iyak. Di ko mapigilan ang luha ko.
Hindi ako mapakapaniwala.
“Pleaasee! Please Arman! Wake up! Please wag ka naman mag biro ng ganto! Pleaaseeee!!” Halos mapaos ako sa kakasigaw. I shaked his pale body, I hug him at ramdam ko ang lamig ng katawan nya.
“Please…… Arman..”
I’m on mess right now. Mugto na ang mata ko, I’m crying for almost 7 hours.
“Yanyan…”
I look at Armando’s mother.
“Tita….” I cried hard and hug her. Umiiyak ako pero andun lang sila at tila hindi nagulat.
“W-whyyy..” i sobbed. Humawak ako sa damit ni tita and keep pulling her close to me.
” Please tita, this is one of his pranks right!”
I laugh while crying.
” Yes , I’m right, di ba tita?”
I wiped my tears and walk to Armando na ngayon ay nakahiga pa rin.
“Ey! Arman get up! You got me ok. HAHA ampangit ng prank mo Arman! Hindi na ako natutuwa!”
Tila seryoso kong wika. Biglang napa hagulgul si Tita at doon na ako tuluyang nawalan ng lakas.
“ARMANN!!” I shouted habang niyayakap sya ng mahigpit.
“No no! This can’t be happening’! No! Sabi nya we will stay together! He promised me!” Iyak ko while shaking my head.
Wala na akong pakialam if i look crazy,
My man is dead! I didnt even know...

“Arman…”
Nawawalan na ako ng lakas, humiga ako sa tabi nya sa hospital bed at niyakap sya ng mahigpit.
“Arman… kararating ko lang kahapon. Get up there, pasyal naman tayo”
Dere deretso ang luha ko. I want him to talk to me, gusto ko marinig ang boses nya.
“I saw this cute Resto on my way home, Let us go there together”
I look at his face. His skin was drained, maputla na talaga sya. I bit my lips at pinigilan ang luha ko but i can’t. Tila gripo na ang mata ko dahil sa tuloy tuloy na pag agos ng luha.
” Tita why don’t we visit your house, I’ll cook his favorite Adobo”
I said to tita, she look at me with her sad eyes. Naaawa sila sakin, at alam kong pinipigilan nilang maiyak ng todo.
“Arman…. We promised to have a vacation sa France di ba?”
” We will wear our matching shirts habang kumakain ng ice cream under the Effiel Tower, hindi ba?”
“Ikakasal pa tayo sa simbahan”
“Magkakaanak pa tayo, diba?”
“Tapos- tapos- Sabay tayong tatanda..”
I felt like dying habang sinasabi ko ang mga salitang iyon.
Those promise are now broken, wala na sya.
” please bumangon ka na jan. Pleasee? Armando please, di ba sabi mo ayaw mo akong makitang umiiyak?”
“You told me na di mo ako sasaktan, sabi mo di mo ako iiwan”
” You lied Armando! You broke your promise! Armando!!!”
I suddenly feel tired of crying, i stayed silent for a minute, wala na akong lakas. Pakiramdam ko ay manhid ang buong katawan ko.
“Armandoooo…. please di ko kaya na wala ka sa tabi ko”
I whispered habang unti unting pinipikit ang mata ko.
I can’t breath pakiramdam ko ay wala ng saysay ang buhay ko. He was my only family, I am an orphan and kapag nawala sya ay wala ng silbi ang buhay ko.
“I love you Armando and i want to stay with you forever….”
I mumbled amd close my eyes. I let the darkness consumed me. I can still hear thier cries, how they call my name and how they call the doctor. I can feel their hands shaking my body.
Stop it, I want to rest too. I’m tired now. I just want to rest and be with Armando.
I closed my eyes for real. I let my heart stop from breathing.
Memories keeps flashing in my mind.
I can see him smile from the distance.
I can see kung paano kumunot ang noo nya pag nagseselos.
I can see how he frustratedly brush his hair.
I can feel his hands holding mine.
I can feel his warm embrace.
I can feel his kisses.
“I love you Yana”
His mouth said those words without a voice.
“I love you too Armando”
bulong ko at agad na ngumiti.
I want to rest. See you on the other side Armando.
Hahanapin kita sa kabilang buhay.
At kung hindi man tayo magkita doon,
I’ll make sure we will meet again on our second life.
Ikaw lang ang mahal ko at paka mamahalin ko,
